Villa or luxury apartment? A dilemma with a simple solution…

Summer 2020 is here and it aims to make up for the time spent on worrying about the Covid-19 pandemic. With the luxury real estate market among the few solid investments not affected by the financial crisis linked to the prolonged lockdown, the question is: what will you choose, a magnificent villa or a posh, luxury apartment?

What to choose and why

Money is not the only factor. Of course a magnificent villa requires a bigger investment, but you have also to keep in mind why are you choosing to buy a luxury property in the first place. Is it because you need a place to stay forever, a place you can live basking in beauty, luxury and glamour while still making business (i.e., the French Riviera)? Then you seem to need a villa. Of course if you haven’t been in the French Riviera, you want to make business there or starting to mingle among billionaires, a luxury apartment is the safest option.

Another factor you need to consider is the type of investment. Like, “this place is going to be the mansion for myself, my family, friends, staff” or “I’m going to make profits from this deal”. First option: villa. Second option: try a luxury apartment in Cannes or Menton.
